Irrigation Equipment Market Application to Reach $15.75 Billion by 2031
The agriculture sector is a major consumer of freshwater in Southeast Asia. Additionally, governments in several Southeast Asian countries are incentivizing the adoption of irrigation equipment to promote sustainable farming practices and conserve water resources. In Indonesia, rapid industrialization and urbanization have increased the demand for water, leaving farmers with limited access to water for irrigation. This has resulted in decreased agricultural productivity and a growing reliance on imported food. Moreover, the demand for irrigation in Java, Southeast Sumatra, South Sulawesi, Bali, and West Nusa Tenggara is high as these areas lack freshwater resources.
